We are an independent family funeral directors, offering traditional and bespoke services at our chapel and a range of options allowing you to personalise every detail. We can provide everything you need to arrange a funeral that is an appropriate memorial for your loved one.

Our Aim
Our aim is to relieve as much stress and anxiety from you as possible to allow you to make your farewells in exactly the manner you wish. We can meet you in the environment that you are most comfortable to discuss and arrange all details.
Simply Staunton
This is a very simple option for those who do not wish to have a funeral service. This meets the needs of people who have no close family, or those who want to just have a cremation, with no service, and may prefer to have a memorial service at a time and place which suits their needs.

Floral Tributes
It may be that you have your own florist in mind, or you may need our help. We can take care of all your requirements to ensure your floral tributes say what you want them to say at a budget to suit you.
If you have any difficulty, or would, in any event like to use the services of our florist, then please do not hesitate to ask. You may wish to keep a record of those who have sent flowers, with a view to acknowledging them subsequently. If you prefer we will list the flowers for you upon request, or collect the message cards attached to the tributes and hand them to you personally afterwards. Following the funeral, if wished, and by requesting, flowers may be taken to a local care home, church of your choice or returned to your home for personal distribution later.
Pallbearers
Some people wish to carry the coffin themselves, but others understandably find this too painful. If this is the case, we can arrange for Pallbearers to carry the coffin with care and dignity.

Music
You may wish to have a traditional organist with music to suit, with or without hymns, or prefer a CD of your favourite music, the choice is entirely yours.
Some people request the services of a soloist to a jazz band. Whatever your preference, we are here to help you achieve your wishes. |

Alternative Funerals & Ceremonies
The diversity of Funerals these days is astonishing and we are equipped to handle all requests to develop a ceremony which reflects the personality and beliefs of the deceased.
Many people now are requesting a non-religious approach and the Humanist Alternative Funerals Organisation provide ministerial help and support to the bereaved. The environment too has made a huge difference in modern funerals, with so many families now requesting an entirely "green" funeral. In the case of Cremation, there are now dozens of choices in what can be done with ashes and we are here to advise you on the many different available options. Staunton Traditional Cremation

- Oak veneer coffin with handles and name plate (upgrade is available if required, price on application)
- Funeral director and four professional bearers (additional bearers will incur an additional fee of £40 each)
- Hearse to the crematorium
- Minister or celebrant to officiate
- Collection of cremated remains from the crematorium

- Standard oak veneer coffin, with handles and name plate
- Suitable transport to convey your loved one to the crematorium
- Collection of the cremated remains from the crematorium
